Marine Fire Safety has BOSIET trained engineers and supplies, installs and maintains the specialist Nobel-K galley fire suppression systems for the protection of the cooking equipment on board offshore installations and FPSO’s. The galley is often located on the middle decks, with extraction ducts often going through the other decks. This is why it is so important that in a fire situation it is dealt with immediately at source to prevent the spread through grease filled trunking and ductwork. The Nobel-K fire suppression system is designed specifically to do this with both automatic and manual activation.
